Working as a pharmacy assistant has drilled skills into me that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Working in Kingston's only 24 hour pharmacy, I have learned how to work in a high-stress environment while making sure the patients were given the best care and service possible.

At my time at the Maltby Centre, I was the leader of an advisory team tasked with how to make the Maltby Centre more youth friendly, and accessible to youth. This job involved leading, facilitating and planning weekly meetings with other members on the team and problem solving as a group. I was also tasked with graphic design work, as part of my job was to take the team's creative ideas for promotional material and to put them into motion to create something tangible, appealing, and beautiful.
