From this, I contacted suppliers and expressed interest in their products- initiating communication to spark new foreign partnerships that could diversify their product range. • This involved a large amount of research, taking initiative and independent work as I was sourcing new information for the company using various outlets, and creating a document detailing my findings and own recommendations. • Produced an analytical excel database featuring all of Groomers product prices against several direct competitors. I did this in order to create a point of reference for a current and future price comparison, enabling the reader to recognize distinct polarizations, so successful price changes can be implemented quickly and efficiently. • I repeated this process for our foreign consumers and distributors by changing our prices due to large exchange rate fluctuations. I also produced a separate document, exhibiting how much extra revenue Groomers would gain by the price changes I had recommended throughout. • Completing this project aided my ability to prioritise a substantial workload, assimilate and evaluate information quickly as I was under a large time-constraint to reflect current market prices and economic shocks. • I took responsibility of a project to move all stock onto a barcoding system in order to improve business efficiency. This involved identifying missing barcodes on their system, then contacting numerous suppliers to source this information. • This largely developed my organisational skills as I had to disassemble a large amount of information to understand what was required from the suppliers and myself in order to implement this change.
