During this four week arts camp, I and my co-facilitators mentored students between ages 12-21 with various skill levels to develop project proposals, concepts, designs, and final artworks for a group exhibition in the four weeks of structured lectures, assignments and independent studio time. I also assisted with summer social media content creation as a collaborative process with SOEX interns and MVS students in order to accurately represent and advertise the programs of Southern Exposure on Instagram, Website, and Facebook pages. In addition to this, RA's are responsible for maintaining regular email communication with residents, scheduling individual 30 minute meetings each semester with each resident to discuss access needs, share academic /financial resources, and monitor residents’ psychological wellbeing. I completed bi-weekly nightshift rounds during school year and the holidays to monitor residential facility conditions, document resident conduct, enforce campus policy, report illegal activities on premises of assigned dormitories, and check on student-resident community wellbeing.
