- Leading a piece of research with the help of two of the lecturers from my undergraduate Psychology studies considering the factors that might impact the BAME students at our university, and what they think could be done. Also considering the links of those things to the attainment gap. - This piece of research is scheduled to finish in about a years time, and I am hoping that the results will be able to push for more change around the university in promoting more diversity and inclusion.The research title is 'An inquiry into the factors impacting University students who are from a Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic background and the possible links to participation and the attainment gap'. - Made use of, and created awareness around the current legislation, university policy and 2010 equality act, to ensure that minority groups at university are represented and included.- Considered how accessible and inclusive the universities online spaces are for members of different groups that are protected under the 2010 equality act. Using what we come up with to provide us with a sense of direction as to how the online spaces could be altered to promote more inclusion and equality university wide.- Made changes to university Equality and Inclusion online pages to make them more informative. - Started conversations with the university about the creation of non-gendered bathrooms and accessibility for wheelchair users.
