  About SAL School of American Law was established in 2012 in cooperation with IIT, Chicago-Kent College of Law to support the mission of expanding high quality legal education covering Balkans, Mediterranean countries, Central Asia, Caucasus and Turkey with its teaching places in Bucharest, Athens, Almaty, Tbilisi, and Istanbul. As a business-law focused program covering the most demanding subjects of law, SAL supports the mission to expand contemporary education, promote the idea of the globalization of law, and provide equal access to legal education for the emerging market countries. SAL provides high quality legal education with significant tuition scholarships followed by Chicago-Kent’s LL.M. Unparalleled opportunities offered by SAL connects international students with US law schools’ alumni, legal industry, bar, and highly qualified academics who provide information on the latest developments in their fields. SAL program covers 10-month (two semesters) study with ten mandatory courses in law conducted only in English and delivered by Chicago-Kent’s Professors. Learning mode is one or two courses per month covering weekends only throughout full day lectures. SAL program curricula, syllabus, reading materials, exam assignments, grading are provided by Chicago-Kent’s Professors.
