I worked as a responsible pharmacist in allocated stores and I was trained to do different pharmacy services such as Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC), Flu Jab, Pneumonia Vaccination, Anti-malarial Prescribing, Travel Vaccination, Meningitis B Vaccination, Minor Ailment Service (MAS), Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (CPCS), Medication Use Reviews (MURs) and New Medication Services (NMS). I was the candidate for the three-month summer intern project entitled "Investigating the immune cell phenotype in the inflammatory central nervous system tissues”. I learned to investigate and compare the phenotype of infiltrating immune cells in normal and inflamed central nervous system (CNS) tissues of mice. At the end of internship, I presented the project with my partner to fellow researchers and internship students.
