Pre-Construction Stage • Construction Floor Area computation and reconciliation. • Blank BOQ preparation. • Analyzing drawings/plans (Structural and Architectural Works) and other documentation to prepare accurate cost, materials and labor estimates. • Confer with Engineers, Architects, Owners and Contractors on queries, changes and adjustments of cost estimates. • Preparing quantity materials take-off. • Analyzing and comparing quotations received at bid stage and clarifying exclusions/inclusions within. • Bid evaluation and tabulation of all candidate contractors. Post Construction Stage • Check completeness of required attachments/substations of request for progress billings. • Return progress billings request to Contractor if found incomplete. • Evaluation and Reconciliation of Variation/Change Orders with the contractors. • Attending site visits for inspection and actual work performed. • Attending procurement/weekly meeting with the client. • Any additional task assigned by superior/department head.
