Managed the design of a 14,000 sqm plant in Western Ukraine that will be producing components for the European automobile industry. Served as the main contact person for the German client, lead the design process, coordinate subdesigners and resolves project issues. Managed the design and preparatory construction works related to reconstruction of a 3,500 sqm historic office building in Kyiv’s city center for an Austrian insurance company. Duties involved managing the company’s dual role in the project as a General Contractor and General Designer. Participated in the design of a 12,000 sqm private hospital in Lviv. Assisted the Client with securing the site, navigating zoning requirements, negotiations with authorities and obtaining approvals. Participated in the design of a 500,000 sqm mixed-use development located within one of the major cities in Eastern Europe. Served as the Team Leader for the design of the residential part of the project - a 130,000 sqm, 85-storey residential tower - and helped to successfully take it from Conceptual Design through Design Development. Took part in construction administration and supervision of the 92-storey, 240,000 sqm Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago, IL. Other projects included: Jumeira Garderns – a 22 mln sqm master plan for expansion of Dubai;150,000 sqm office and residential complex (China), and 400,000 sqm Qatar Petroleum Headquarters Complex (Qatar). Helped to establish the Ukrainian office of an international architecture and urban design firm. Managed and coordinated all of the company’s Ukrainian projects with the head office in Warsaw, Poland. Led the local design team and ensured completion of project documentation in accordance with clients’ programmatic requirements and local building codes. Participated in creation of project marketing materials for major clients for the annual MIPIM real estate fair in Cannes, France. Key projects included: master plans for two 450,000 sqm residential districts (both currently under construction); mixed-use riverfront development strategy for the city of Kyiv; 50,000 sqm resort community in Crimea; 16,000 sqm retail center; 10,000 sqm suburban town-house community. Additional engagements: • Coordinated the work of the MIT School of Architecture and Planning graduate urban design studio which developed a plan for regeneration of Kyiv's riverfront • Coordinated an international workshop which produced strategic guidelines for redevelopment of an 18th century historic Arsenal building into Ukraine’s main national art museum complex.
