Head Lifeguard
-
May 2023 - Present
Initially, I was hired for this rollback in May of 2023, their pool had to undergo construction and wouldn't be complete until late July or early August. During this time of close I moved to their kitchen staff and took on odd jobs in both the kitchen and the pool. Pool side work was basic pool maintenece, redecoration, painting, cleaning, and moving furniture. As of reopening I manage lifeguard work scheduals, I manage pool chemical levels, I'm responsible for our members safty and I'm the go to guy If the pool manager isn't availabe. Show less

Food Runner
-
Jun 2023 - Aug 2023
I transferred to the kitchen from the pool, and was quickly regarded as a highly reliable employee with a large skill set at my disposal. I worked in a fast-paced, stressful environment where communication between servers and cooks is essential, especially as an expeditor during dinner services. You need to be on top of things otherwise you could set yourself and your coworkers back time you don't have. During this employment I have also disassembled and thoroughly cleaned kitchen equipment with skills I learned in a prior job. I've also performed tasks such as wiring, painting, general repair, and manual labor. I'm willing to go to lengths most people won't; parts of this job saw me in some nasty spaces covered in dirt, grime, mud, rust, mold, you name it, and I still put 110% effort into my work. Show less

Repossessor
-
Jun 2020 - Aug 2020
My job was to travel Illinois, generally within the greater Chicago area, and mark specific equipment for repossession and notify those in possession of said equipment. People don’t always take well to having equipment being marked for repossession, so I learned lots of skills communicating with people and de-escalating certain hostile situations.
