Project Manager
-
Oct 2021 - Present
My role at Boomerang Water goes well beyond the scope of project management. As a maturing startup, the whole team at Boomerang Water wears more than one hat. As part of my role, I have begun establishing a project management system using Notion. Along with that management, I am also implementing documentation systems, managing the dealership, updating and implementing HACCP protocols, learning and updating billing through QuickBooks Online, bottling, and even making deliveries. Boomerang allows me to follow my generalist nature and receive mentorship from an incredible team, while also pursuing an immensely important sustainability goal of ending single use plastic bottle consumption.

Fly Fishing Guide
-
May 2021 - Sep 2021
As a fly fishing guide at A Bar A Ranch, I hosted guests on fishing trips twice a day from Monday to Saturday. I guided wade and raft trips on the North Platte and Big Creek rivers. Beyond having an understanding of angling you also need personal skills, good hospitality practices, and outdoor knowledge. Project Intern
-
Jan 2021 - May 2021
As an intern for Boomerang Water, I established a feasibility model for a subscription water bottle service with Davidson College's Jay Hurt Hub for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The project established student and member usage of the Boomerang Water system across five weeks. Additionally, the project assessed the environmental impact of adding Boomerang's subscription model to the Jay Hurt Hub. From the project Boomerang was able to extrapolate data to the larger Davidson College system, providing valuable feasibility data. Separately, I worked on creating a user manual for the machine, made deliveries, and made presentations to different groups within the Town of Davidson.
