I worked on the formulation of an extraction polymer technology for application in the wine industry: removing smoke taint in wine. I conducted some upscaling test for this technology until reaching a commercial test trial and I was responsible for conducting research plan for new target in wine. Achievements • Upscaled extraction polymer technology from 1 L to 150 L of wine treated. • Collaborated with staff from a wide range of technical and non-technical backgrounds to produce a pilot system that was purchased by the client for NZD100,000. • Helped to reduce the cost of the regeneration processes by 20 %. • Developed SOP and processes to be followed by the research team. • worked closely with the business development team to find new market opportunities from the wine industry. • Created and conducted a research plan on new targets in wine in 6 months. • Developed the corresponding polymer technology for these new targets in 6 months. • worked closely with the business development team to engage with 10+ potential clients on their technical requirements. • Collaborated with international clients and development teams to deliver efficient products. • Participated to a national conference and delivered a speech in front of non-technical public and potential investors.
