I’ve been taken under the wing of Guy Venne and the staff at MNP here in Sudbury Ontario to learn about the accounting and finance world and apply my current knowledge and skills. Started with personal tax returns in January 2021. I then had the opportunity to conduct and learn about compilation, assurance and articling. After concluding my 2nd year of business administration at Laurentian University. I wanted to learn how to teach and there was no better way to do just that then to become a supply teacher. Working part time at many different schools around Sudbury Ontario, I was capable of teaching a class room, at any age group. I was brought on as an intern that would help me conclude an internship with Laurentian University. My roles were distributed over 3 departments (Hertz Car Rental, Laking Toyota Parts/Service and anything else related to customer service). I was then lined up to become a Salesman once I received my Bachelors degree in Business Administration. Unfortunately, COVID-19 delayed that process which then made me take the decision to go back to school (in which I am currently finishing my MBA at Laurentian University). Show less
