As a leader in the Cameroon YES Alumni Association, I have had the privilege of designing, planning, budgeting, leading, and reporting on various community service projects. My primary responsibility is to ensure that these projects align with the organization's mission of promoting education, health, and personal and professional development among youth in Cameroon.In my role, I have managed teams of over 10 people on various community projects, providing guidance, support, and leadership to ensure their success. I take pride in helping new members learn the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute meaningfully to our projects.My most memorable project to date has been working for two years to create a library at the LES MOINEAUX primary school in the West region of Cameroon. This project involved extensive planning, fundraising, and collaboration with the school and the local community. The library has now become a valuable resource for the students and the community, providing access to books, information, and educational resources that were previously unavailable.Overall, my role as a leader in the Cameroon YES Alumni Association has been incredibly fulfilling, and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of youth in Cameroon. During my three-month internship as an Information Technology Support Officer, I gained valuable experience in providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and managing IT assets.
