Maxene is one of the best managers of people I have ever had the pleasure of working alongside. Maxene has the ability to remain completely professional in a very high pressure role and lead by example for all to benefit around her. I have lost count of the number of young journalists that Maxene has managed and mentored who have gone on to achieve further success as well recognised professionals in regional and metropolitan markets.Traditionally in media 'News' and 'Sales' operate as two very separate entities and unfortunately some narrow minded people misconstrue this and look at each other as being on opposing teams. Maxene has always been able to get the job done ethically, and find a 'work around' any difficult situations that arise in the office.I admire Maxene's tenacity and enjoy her sense of humour, she is a champion !
