During the 2019-20 Spring semester, I worked for the University of Pittsburgh - Johnstown's Marketing Department under the supervision of Allie Costlow and the head of our department, Eric Sloss. Allie was an amazing supervisor who helped me hone my skills as a graphic designer through constructive criticism and collaboration. I did everything from designing thank you cards, designing logos for brochures, creating supportive signs for our essential workers, and even more mundane things like scanning photos from online archives or physical examples and sending them to the appropriate people. This experience not only improved my skills with creating designs and using Adobe's Creative Cloud suite, but it also made me a better worker. There were plenty of days I needed to work away form the office and I was able to maintain a productive output with Allie remotely instructing me on that day's agenda. I truly value this opportunity and was glad I got the chance to learn new things and meet new people. Included are examples of my work done here.
