I find it a real joy to work with the creative people who make up Generations Community Church. In addition to teaching at the weekend service and providing vision and leadership for the organization, I had the distinct honor of serving as the "credible host" in Central Kentucky's very first weekly worship service for families, called Kidstuf. Although Generations no longer employs Kidstuf as a vehicle to inspire families, we remain committed to helping parents actually pass on their faith (and yes, their values) to their children.

I teach a class or two at Asbury University. I've done so with "live" classrooms and distance learning classrooms, or as I like to call it, "the Star Trek classrooms." It's stretched my communication skills and given me an opportunity to learn (and hopefully someday master) another communication medium. These days, I mostly teach in-person, one-week intensive classes for Salvation Army officers that's part of a partnership between Asbury University and The Salvation Army. Those men and women (in uniform) are pretty awesome!Courses taught include: Small Groups, Leadership in Ministry, Church in Contemporary Culture.

I started out at $500/month to help oversee children's ministry. I finished out by helping provide oversight for the staff, budget process and several ministries of the church. Church of the Savior remains in my book a great place to serve! I started out at $500/month to help oversee children's ministry.
