I met Max during a 10 week UX immersive course at General Assembly London and I was lucky enough to work with him on concept project for Chilango. Those 2 weeks sprint were very intense, working late all evenings and during weekends. However, Max was not only hardworking and full of smart ideas but he also always lightened the mood with jokes when we were stressed or stuck on a problem. Max has a really high EQ, he is an excellent listener and he is very empathetic. All those qualities make him an amazing UX designer and teammate. I look forward to working with him again soon!

Max did a 3 month internship here at Charles Duke London Limited. As a business our core service is pay per click campaign management for customers ranging across many verticals. We also run lead generation websites in highly competitive markets. Max was a great help. He is an extremely quick learner and has a keen eye for making campaigns successful. It has been hard to come across people that just ‘get it’, Max is certainly one of them. His enthusiasm and eye for making campaigns successful will make him an asset to any digital team. Max came on board and we put him through the Google internet advertising qualifications. He then took a very hands on approach going straight into building campaigns for clients. Max was the first intern that we have ever trusted to get on and build a campaign for paying clients with targets to hit. He proved himself as the campaign became a success. Max also helped out with lead generation projects which require not only a well build ad campaign but extremely high converting landing pages that contently need to be split tested. Again, Max was told to ‘get on and do it’ with the freedom to think on his own. The campaigns directing to the landing pages he designed turned out to be another success. I would have no hesitation in recommending Max to any digital team, it is hard to come by people with a natural understanding, enthusiasm and competence in digital marketing and lead generation

Through General Assembly, my team and I were tasked with taking on a two-week sprint for Bombinate. Bombinate wanted to address conversions rates through UX design. Together we came to the conclusion that one of the issues was that Bombinate’s website was not portraying their brand mission. We, therefore, decided to target this by addressing the brand awareness on the product listings page and product details page, whilst also making the basket and checkout process more fluid and efficient. Methods used:-Competitive Analysis -Contextual Enquiries -User Research -User Journey and Flows -Affinity Mapping -Design studio-Wireframing -Prototypes Iterations -User TestingsThe CEO’s and stakeholders whom we presented our research and Invision clickable prototype to were really enthusiastic about our work and were keen for us to continue working with them after the course to implement it in January.

UX Design immersive course:Full-time 11-week industry-led course covering the full range of UX design skills and processes including research, design, prototyping and testing, iteration processes and working with teams and clients.Foodie - Concept project 1During one-week concept project, I was challenged with creating a mobile app for my classmate to aid them in their day to day lives. This project was about rapid prototyping, creating an interactive prototype of designs based on user research. Growing Garden Supply - Concept project 2 In weeks two and three of General Assembly we were tasked with creating a mid-fidelity prototype of an e-commerce website for a local garden supply shop called Growing Garden Supply. We used the lean UX model, Double Diamond, to achieve this. The project was about executing a full 2-week design process while applying fundamental UX skills. Chilango- Concept project 3During a two-week concept project, my team and I were challenged with creating a responsive website or app that handled orders and payments from Chilango’s restaurant tables. We created a high fidelity responsive website prototype, which could have been integrated with Chilango’s existing responsive website which deals solely with pre-ordering.
