Interdisciplinary Industry Consultancy Project for Sustainable Development

The interdisciplinary industry consultancy project conducted for Sustainability Victoria was aimed to support the reduction of single use plastics from food and beverage businesses under the Recycling Victoria Policy. This included designing and conducting a trial at Monash University's Clayton campus through a point-of-sale signage behaviour change intervention encouraging customers to bring their own containers. Required extensive data collection and evaluation through retailer interviews, customer surveying and a literature review of available evidence. Demanded targeted communication and liaising between all involved stakeholders. Culminated in the delivery of a detailed report and presentation of findings and recommendations to Sustainability Victoria. Results of this project were used to guide and inform future work for Sustainability Victoria's in the area. Show less
