  I was responsible for various aspects within the sales team, from leading the sales team in targeted events; till work; organisation of new products; shipment of products to other stores and I managed the Arts and Crafts section. A high standard of customer service was essential, and I gained experience in organising events for young children, which can also appeal to their parents and working out how they can be implemented during the working day instore. Interaction with customers was prominent throughout the day

  I was responsible for a range of tasks from working on the tills to organising tables in the restaurant and helping in the kitchen when needed. This including dealing with customers complaints, and being able to hear their compliments, both in person and through reviews left online. I was team leader and planner on some of the busy days of the year, notably Father’s Day where I was 'running the show' I had spent the previous days organising the bookings and positions of how everybody would fit in the restaurant, then dealing with any issues which came up on the day. Even though I realised that the catering industry was not the place I wanted to spend the rest of my life; the time I spent at Stonehouse was invaluable to me for growth as a person and it has extended my customer service and problem-solving skills.
