  A 10 week research fellowship assisting two HamiltonCollege government professors with their research. I spentthe first five weeks with Professor Sharon Rivera, workingon analyzing results from the Survey of Russian Elites.Specifically, I researched electoral uncertainty regardingVladimir Putin and possible successors. I gained experiencewith analysis of survey data and the computer programSPSS. I spent the second five weeks with Professor EricaDe Bruin, assisting her with her new project about militarizedpolicing. Specifically, I looked at why states use might usetheir military domestically for police duties. I gave feedbackand provided data for articles that appeared in theWashington Post and Political Violence at a Glance. Show less
