      I founded the business in August 2012 and today I run this part time with a team of six including journalists, graphic designers, UX/web developers and videographers. Talking Rugby Union is an online rugby magazine that allows talented young media students and rugby professionals to report on rugby at all levels across the globe. We are leading the ways in four areas; National League, University, Women’s and Academy Rugby. The company has been built around a strong digital presence and strategy. I am responsible for acquisition P&L and I primarily identify ROI trends for our digital marketing strategy. I work closely with our UX designer to evaluate end-to-end customer experience and how we can improve our conversions.

      The RFU and NCA approached Talking Rugby Union to redevelop their whole digital platform and content strategy as well as creating commercial partnerships. I head up the project and produce a monthly/yearly content and digital strategy for the national governing organisation. I have helped the NCA create a custom CRM and live scores system which is used by fans all over the UK. I manage a team two full time journalists, one videographer, one web developer and two interns.
