As part of my daily duties, I ensure the efficient flow of product onto the sales floor. This includes managing item-to-item inventory both physically and digitally, receiving and invoicing orders, organizing and refreshing stock, blending a variety of teas and spice blends, and using data to make projections.

Shift Lead/Assistant Production Manager
-
May 2022 - Aug 2022
Using broad knowledge of product and stock (spices, loose leaf teas, salts, and sugars) alongside previous customer service knowledge, I am helping with the day-to-day happenings in-store. One of my responsibilities is maintaining proper stock and blending procedures. A given day might see me helping a guest choose from a wide selection of flavorings to reach a perfect recipe result, as well as making sure anything one might need is well-stocked and ready to be savored.

Brought on as the primary caretaker of all facets of audio for what started as a NYU School of Game Design thesis project, I have composed and developed several pieces of music and audio cues for this charming cooking game/RPG. Working in Unity, I have led the team in implementing stems and cues for use in the game "Roadshop" (in development, PC). This project is ongoing. I worked closely with fellow managers to supervise day-to-day operations. My specific responsibilities included managing stock/inventory, close-knit customer service, handling returns, and using my wide breadth of board game/pop culture knowledge to tailor a customer's shopping experience. I also worked in merchandising and other behind-the-scenes tasks essential to the storefront, including taking regular inventory, and doing extensive product research. Working with producers and the narrative team at Vodeo, I helped develop and finalize a trans character's dialogue and overarching themes for "Beast Breaker" (PC and Switch, 2021), making sure that the character was both relatable and realistic. Using written documentation and video calls, I worked on making sure the character's voice came through, while maintaining necessary and enjoyable rapport with the other characters in the game. I produced a version of a stub script marked with comments for the narrative team and answered questions about specific instances to ensure the character was both engaging and respectful of the trans-inclusive background the team wanted.
