Headed the Theater Explorations 2 week intensive camp for 6th - 9th graders. Focus on the comparison of work from the "Honest" acting approach vs. Presentational" . Intro. To Stanislavsky and Commedia del Arte were the vehicles in the teaching approach. The students also had classes in Voice/Diction, Radio/t.V. Voice over workshop, Movement, and Mask Making. The final day culminated in a Lecture Demo. of all the disciplines learned including performances of Goldie Locks and the 3 Bears done in the Honest style and then in the Commedia style. I wrote the play and directed the first version. I gave the Commedia cast a "skeleton" plot for their Stock characters and the students improvised the Commedia version. Show less
