The China Research Centre was a global leader in research on social and cultural change in contemporary China. I managed 20 researchers who adopted an interdisciplinary framework, informed by extensive fieldwork, aimed at understanding the significance of China's rapid transformation in domestic and international terms. Centre staff regularly worked on collective projects with researchers from other Australian and international universities. We organized international Conferences, seminars, workshops, and the Australia-China Business Forum. Show less
