Henkel operates globally with a well-balanced and diversified portfolio. The company holds leading positions with its three business units in both industrial and consumer businesses thanks to strong brands, innovations and technologies. Henkel Adhesive Technologies is the global leader in the adhesives market – across all industry segments worldwide. In its Laundry & Home Care and Beauty Care businesses, Henkel holds leading positions in many markets and categories around the world. During my internship in Düsseldorf, it is my task to support my colleagues in the Asset, Margin & Invest Controlling of the "Adhesive Technologies" Division at Henkel. So far, I was already able to get valuable insights into the Company and its market, which broaden my horizon every day. After my first internship which I completed in a smaller Startup Environment, I was curious as to what working for a global player and DAX 30 company is like and happy to say that it added to my professional expertise. hear.com is the new global brand of audibene GmbH and a leading hearing aids provider that is currently revolutionising this traditional industry. During the course of this internship, me and my colleagues worked on conquering the Indian market. Due to the fact that the company just started business in India about half a year before I started my internship, there was a lot of work to be done and I had the chance to help the company with a very wide range of things. Thus, I gained a valuable amount of practical experience. It was a very interesting and challenging position and I am more than happy that I got the possibility to spend the internship in a major emerging economy. Show less
