      In 2007 I also started my own company (next to my normal job) Native Sports Holland. I opened my own webshops (and showroom) in fishing tackle and watersports products. I sold A-branded rods, tents, boats, outboard engines etc. At that time I also started building up the exclusive rod brand SPORTEX in The Netherlands and Belgium. Very soon this became my core business. I managed to make this brand very populair in The Netherlands and Belgium. Now thousands of fishermen use these rods and many fishing tackle shops in Holland and Belgium sell these top quality fishing rods. In 2018 my facebook page for this brand had more than 4.000 followers among Dutch and Belgium fishermen. Update: in January 2019 I sold my company, including the webshop and facebookpage to the official Dutch/Belgium distributor. Later they added this concept to their own platform. In 2008 I also started a company with webshop in metaldetecting equipment. I became the exclusive dealer of the American A-brand in metaldetectors: White's. For over ten years I sold these high qualtity products to metaldecting enthusiasts and industrial companies all over the Benelux through my company DetectorWereld.
