I worked with Mauri on a project where we analyzed a portfolio of commercial mortgages that was failing. There were 22 loans in the portfolio that had a value of $58 million. The analysis resulted in a proposal to pay off 4 loans and pay down 9 loans that totaled $17 million in principal pay-downs. Upon completing the analysis Mauri and I presented our findings to the Chief Investment Officer at Protective Life Corporation and are currently moving forward with executing our proposal. Mauri was an invaluable team member and provided amazing financial and analytic insight during the project. I would eagerly recommend Mauri and cannot wait to work with him again myself. -Thomas Bulls
