Spiritual direction creates a safe, sacred, and confidential space to talk, be accompanied, attentively listened to, and enable you to listen to God. What is a Spiritual Director? A spiritual director is a companion who can journey with you as you listen to the voice of God. They can help you in your search for a better understanding of yourself and God. You will have the opportunity to reflect deeply on the experiences of your daily life. It will encourage you to grow closer to God. This ministry is open to all Christian faith traditions. This ministry is limited to those living in the United States. For an initial consultation please contact Redemptorist Father Maurice J. Nutt, a certified spiritual director at www.copiosacare.org, or (985) 224-7506 Located in New Orleans, sessions are held in-person for those fully vaccinated or virtually via Zoom. There is a pre-paid fee for each hour-long session. Copiosa means “abundant or plentiful.” Father Maurice hopes to provide abundant care as you walk your spiritual journey. Gracious spiritual accompaniment is a core value of my spiritual direction practice. As a spiritual director, my responsibility is to create a compassionate, sacred space to attentively listen and tend to the soul story that dwells within you. Together we will listen for where God is speaking within and around you, so as to draw your attention to the spiritual journey you are on. I seek to create a safe place for those facing situations that she or he deems challenging and requires caring support.
