  Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning is Ontario’s leading and largest college with more than 160 full time programs and 200 continuing education programs. The college has a diverse population of both local and a large international student body from across the world. I took the initiative to present Mathematics in simple and creative ways where students can relate to mathematical concepts in their daily living. In collaboration with the Centre for Teaching and learning, I created videos to enhance students learning in Mathematics. In addition, I also presented on behalf of the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Science at Humber College’s annual Show Case event on ways to relate Mathematics to everyday life. I also use novel ways of teaching mathematics to students (academic upgrading) who are faced with extreme challenges understanding mathematical concepts. At the end of each course, students usually achieve 98 – 100% pass rates. Responsibilities: • Teach Mathematics to students within the faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and the School of Applied Technology. • Create assessment material (Assignments, Quizzes, Tests and Exams) to monitor student’s performance.   The College of Agriculture, Science and Education (CASE) is a multi-disciplinary tertiary institution offering training in education, agriculture, management sciences and natural sciences to young men and women in Jamaica and the wider Caribbean. However after I started lecturing this course, enrolment increased to over 100 students per semester thus the class had to be divided into two groups to accommodate this registration. Students were motivated and excelled in this subject area with excellent pass rates. • As assistant cricket coach, the College team won the national intercollegiate cricket competition 1 year and went to consecutive finals.   Titchfield is the premier academic high school within the parish of Portland and boasts the highest pass rates in CXC, O’Level, A’Level and CAPE. It is considered as one of the leading high schools in Jamaica where Science is concerned. With a population of approximately 2,000 students and over 100 staff members, this co head school has class sizes of 35 students on average spanning from grades 7-13. The school has excelled to reach the finals of the national school’s Challenge Quiz competition. Responsibilities: • Teacher of Physics , Chemistry and Integrated Science • Managed and supervised over one hundred (100) staff and approximately two thousand five hundred (2500) students. • Conducted meetings and organized teams to implement policies and strategies towards the institution’s growth; effectively maintained discipline, supervised teachers, prepared reports and constructed timetables. • Provided guidance and counselling as form tutor to grade 12 & 13 students especially to those at risk; such efforts resulted in increased class attendance and academic performance where they are currently pursuing careers at the tertiary level both nationally and internationally.
