As Principal of Elizabeth Seton Aceademy ( ESA), from 2005-2012, I facilitated ESA to achieve Accreditation in 2008. I also facilitated ESA to achieve I- 20 Certification which opened the door to foreign students to attend ESA, adding to its diversity and ESA's financial stability as a result of the necessary fees for processing the foreign students.100% of ESA graduates under my tenure were accepted to college.I worked closely with Admissions to increase student enrollment during my 7 years as Principal by 54%I achieved "Approval of the City of Boston" by the Boston School Committee for ESA to be a recognized institution; thus allowing Boston students to receive free bus passes. As President, I increased Donor contributions and achieved free air time on Boston's WRKO, supporting ESA.While President and Principal of ESA I received the endorsement of Boston College to provide free tuition for young teachers at ESA to pursue their Masters' Degree and Certifications.I created an atmosphere of support, nurturing, and respect for all students, teachers and parents. We were a family Show less

I was the Chair of the English Department of Boston Latin School from 1983-1989. During that time I implemented the new Evaluation system for the 25 teachers in my Department. I utilized Peer Evaluation for colleagues to improve their teaching methods. I facilitated colleagues to critique the content of the Final Exams in June to have questions move from a rote memory question to a higher level of critical thinking skills including evaluation ,interpretation and application.
