Facilities Integrity Management System Engineering Intern

I reviewed the Safety Equipment Program in the EMPNG Facilities Integrity Management System (FIMS). Outcomes of internship experience include: - Created a comprehensive inventory database for Self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) units and portable eyewash stations(PES) for both the LNG processing plant site and the Hides Gas Conditioning Plant site. - Coordinated with onsite Emergency rescues teams to identify gaps in inconsistent SCBA and PES equipment tags in the central electronic database versus onsite in the field. - Assessed existing equipment maintenance strategy for both the SCBA and PES to identify if requirements from ExxonMobil’s standardised Equipment Integrity Guidelines and equipment manufacturer's O&M recommendations were met. - Strategized recommendations for resolving identified inconsistencies in the equipment tags and the equipment strategy assessed. - Produced proposals for revised equipment maintenance strategies for the SCBA and PES. I was awarded the merit-based ExxonMobil Engineering Sponsorship Grant.
