Every Friday reading buddies is facilitated in my classroom with grade 4. Students have made comic books, written their own fiction books, and created their own board games during reading buddies. During my role at BCA, I have worked with a diverse group of students from all different academic and emotional backgrounds. I have attended special education meetings, held parent-teacher conferences, and administered standardized testing. I love teaching this age group. Watching them grow in their reading skills is amazing. Something amazing happens in the brain of a first grader and its incredible to see them make connections in their learning. Show less
