Roles include: • Transcribing the chairman’s thoughts on several aspects of the club and their performance, and producing a writeup from that. • Transcribing the manager’s post-match interviews and producing a 450-word writeup for the managers column section. • Interviewing a player and producing a 500-word writeup from their response. • Produce a league roundup section, accumulating the results and what they mean for our club. • Produce a writeup for the Morpeth juniors section. • Produce several other pieces of similar length, including ‘three things we learnt’, ‘meet our opponents’, previous matches pictures on a double page spread and ‘press box banter’.
