As a school-wide intervention specialist, my job was to decide which interventions were best suited for students to achieve maximum success. I allocated resources to teachers, instructed several small groups, scheduled paraprofessionals for intervention blocks, offered professional development opportunities, and progress monitored all at-risk students. I led monthly meetings with teachers and administrators to discuss school-wide data.

The Bartow County School System offers a free tutoring program over the summer for at-risk students. I have been a part of the convention since its inception. In the last two years, the convention has expanded to multiple locations. As director of the Cloverleaf campus, I delivered student interventions, scheduled six teachers over a month long session, and communicated daily with parents and central office staff.
