Developers, and entire teams could be pulled from the projects they were working on to dust off a previous project that needed attention. This was inefficient from a focus standpoint and a disservice to both clients. • Having lobbied for dedicated support team members and getting traction there, I volunteered to lead the team, which started with myself and one developer (I was still half time on other projects). The team has since grown with a second developer and few part time contractors. • I meet weekly with the team to assess how we are doing and implement regular change to our process so that we are continually improving. • I maintain the relationship with our remote contractors to make sure they are getting the hours they are looking for and are having a good experience on the whole. • We assessed and implemented a service desk tool (Jira) that we use to manage incoming requests. • I have refined and communicated the purpose and benefits of the team to sales and participate in selling our team's services.
