I worked with a broad spectrum of talented engineering & architectural teams within SSOE's automotive division on projects ranging from $1,000 to $1 million+ in design & engineering fees. My previous experience in the telecommunications group as a client manager provided a solid foundation in project management and allowed me to really excel in this role, where I got a taste of managing large multi-disciplinary projects at various levels of development. I was also very involved in several corporate initiatves outside of my normal job duties, including the Millennial Advisory Committee to the CEO, the Project Management Strategy Group, and the SSOE Employee & Activities club.• Collaborates with the client and the design team to develop scope and schedule for multiple projects• Develops fee for each project and monitors/maintains project budgets• Coordinates workflow between a large multi-discipline team of engineers and designers to create project deliverables.

I was also very fortunate to gain experience working as a structural enginner on several projects in the more "traditional" side of the A/E/C industry, with projects ranging from healthcare, to automotive, and to the industrial / manufacturing industries. • Performs rigorous structural analyses of existing monopole, self support, and guyed tower structures and their foundations to ensure structural stability.• Develops modification designs for overstressed tower components, including anchorage and foundations.• Highly knowledgeable and involved in the development of tower codes and local jurisdiction exceptions governing the analysis/design/maintenance of tower structures.• Structural engineer on "traditional" design projects within the healthcare, automotive, and industrial facility industries, primarily in steel and concrete design.

Park Operations - Ride Host

I had the pleasure of working for the best amusement park in the world as a ride host on some of the best roller coasters in the world. I learned a great deal about the inner workings of operating a roller coaster and managing attractions, and took every chance possible to learn about the how the rides were designed, constructed, and maintained. • Operated rides safely in a fast paced environment on multiple roller coasters at Cedar Point, including Magnum XL-200, Millennium Force, and Mantis.• Inspected rides every morning and perform safety and block checks before park opening.• In-Charge when leadership not present and was responsible for a crew of 9 to 11 members.
