Started off working as a developer / senior developer and eventually project leader, working on a number of software projects in various industries including: telecommunication billing, real estate, in-flight catering and health. Projects included Windows and web applications, web portals and Microsoft SharePoint / Office 365 solutions.I spent 6 years leading the SharePoint development team at Ascent Software, helping build a team of around 20 developers. As a member of the senior management team, I was responsible for mentoring project leaders within my department from both a technical and operational perspective. I also worked closely with the CTO, HR manager and Operations manager to assist with the company's technical, recruitment and operational functions.
