Consumer electronics products are becoming more and more complicated, it’s practically impossible for any single company to develop all technologies needed to make them run. Patent pools, or other forms of patent aggregation, offer fundamental efficiencies to simplify and streamline access to the technologies, supporting the entire ecosystem.
