Nov 2021 - Nov 2021
From the 1st to the 12th of November, I have been called to form part of the Delegation of Togo in the pursuit of the President Mandate. I organised and participated in meetings and debates, prepared strategic documents and assisted the delegation during the negotiations with the EU and contributed to the alignment of the Country position with the OACPS. In particular, I took care of the country entry and positioning in the Carbon Credit Market and I have organised awareness raising activities on the Support Programme for the Fight Against Climate Change (PALCC). Furthermore, I have pursued opportunities of collaboration and involvement of the country in regional EU financed project to make sure that the Republic of Togo is included in the development efforts financed by the EU in the ACP regions, and particularly in West Africa. In this framework, I have organised and moderated the event "Participatory Mitigation Strategies and Climate Services as tools in the fight against Climate Change" at the Pavilion of the Francophone Institution for Sustainable Development (IFDD) involving Togo officials and the Team Leader of the Intra-ACP Climate Services and Related applications Programme (ClimSA).
