      For my MSc thesis I have conducted a research on wave overtopping in harbour areas. Currently in practice no single method is available which can quantify the overtopping discharges and volumes. These are required for a flood risk analysis of harbour areas. Such areas are very vurnerable to inundation, such that wave overtopping may significantly increase the flood risk. In the end I developed my own model which can estimate wave growth, wave penetration and wave overtopping. For my MSc thesis I have conducted a research on wave overtopping in harbour areas.
