Lead Artificial Intelligence Researcher

Developed Avira's NightVision classification system which uses machine learning to predict the probability of a sample being malicious. The initial version used a GPGPU-optimized support vector training that ran on a hundred million samples with thousands of features per sample. Since its creation, NightVision is one of the key detection pillars at Avira and a significant contributor to best in class real-world detection rates.
