Tesi is a true leader, collaborator and educator with a great wealth of experience and ideas that drive our industry forward. His passion and dedication within events is first-class and an inspiration to our industry. A BIG Thank You for launching the Exhibition Think Tank (ETT) Club and bringing the industry together especially at the most challenging of times.

Tesi and I worked together as part of the Senior leadership team which lead the UBM EMEA Amsterdam business operation in UBM EMEA. I have enjoyed thoroughly working with Tesi because he demonstrated a strong understanding of the food ingredients industry, is completely commercially focused and client orientated, cares about the people in his team and supports them to achieve their full potential. I know him to be a level headed, rational, leader who is well spoken and genuine in his convictions. I respect Tesi hugely and would recommend him as a colleague and friend to all.

As Portfolio Director for UBM’s Food Ingredients portfolio, I was responsible for managing and developing 12 B2B trade shows (in Brazil, China, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Germany, France among other locations), over 20 conferences, one online portal, and one magazine globally. Started in 1986 in the Netherlands, the Food Ingredients portfolio is the largest of its kind in the world to cover food, health, nutrition, and wellness ingredients and much more besides. UBM is the second largest event organizer in the world. Under my leadership, four new trade shows were launched in two years, while the portfolio grew by 10% annually. The flagship show was also rated as the best of 300 shows in terms of customer satisfaction, as the result of an event content and feature strategy. Show less

Reporting to the Manager of New Media, my role was to assist individual show teams to develop and launch their show websites and to co-ordinate communication and activities between the New Media and IT departments. I created an “online style guide” to embed the corporate identity of Messe Frankfurt online – which they used for over eight years. Alongside this, I worked on a project with Bertelsmann to create online industry portals.
