I have worked with Matthias Pucklitzsch during my time as a board member of the German European School, but have known him before that due to my dealings as a father of an enrolled kid at the school. As such, I am qualified to judge (and recommend him) him from the angle of an indirect manager and also as a client of the school. Matthias is well known for his work ethic, positive attitude towards identifying and resolving issues in a complex political setting (a statement that truly applies to the school considering the peculiar relationships that come with co-hosting the French School – and their respective administrative settings - at the same campus), teamwork mentality, and diligence. He is well respected throughout the organization for being the "go-to" person for administrative and financial challenges that such a foreign school is facing in the Philippines, for getting things done, and for accomplishing difficult tasks, such as managing construction and maintenance activities the school longed to do. Throughout the time I've known him, he has shown me time and time again that he is a positive, motivated leader with amazing potential. In summation, due to his great attitude, dedication and excellent potential, I would heartily recommend him for any business or general manager function. I am sure that he would be as great an asset to any team as he has been to mine.
