To Whom It May Concern: It was my distinct pleasure to have worked closely with Matthias Kaiser over a period of aproximately one (1) year from 2011 - 2012 when he served as Al Faisaliah Hotel's Director of Rooms and a member of our Executive Committee. Soon after his arrival, Matthias quickly addressed the need to raise operational standards and the performance of his team. He modified and updated Policies & Procedures related to the Rooms Division operation and, where needed, introduced new practices and innovative solutions to solve the challenges at hand. Matthias was fully committed to the process of Saudization of the Front Desk and worked assertively to acheiving this goal & objective throughout his tenure. The structure of his Department was modified and he introduced new operational positions & functions needed to directly address declining Guest Satisfaction Scores...Significant & lasting improvements in Guest Matrix Scores & Comments were garnered as a result. Matthias established a culture of accountability, eliminating obstacles that prevented his team from excelling. He propelled his staff to reach higher in order to succeed together. Matthias fully supported his fellow peers and subordinates fairly & consistently...He always performed admirably under pressure & when faced with the most difficult of circumstances and consistently handled matters tactfully and diplomatically.
