In a small team of CMs, I work collaboratively on a variety of titles across multiple genres, while acting as the CM project lead on select titles and mentoring the newest teamembers. I work closely with Product Managers, the PR manager, and the Head of Marketing throughout the campaign – from the inception of content and communication strategies based on the primary campaign beats, asset production and distribution, to content creator outreach, post launch support, and regularly reporting on channel metrics and KPIs. We manage publisher, as well as individual game accounts across Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram. In addition, I also handle social media ad campaign briefs, and consult on digital marketing strategies. Working publisher-side, I coordinate asset distribution with local subsidiaries and distributors, licensing partners, as well as a team of off-site CMs that supports major IPs. Main titles I worked on: Warhammer: Chaosbane, The Sinking City (both in development), V-Rally 4, Warhammer 40,000: Martyr - Inquisitor (console version), TT Isle of Man - Ride on the Edge, Tennis World Tour, WRC 6 & 7, Flatout 4 - Total Insanity, Rugby 18, Outcast - Second Contact

Community Coordinator

Oct 2013 - Sep 2016
I started at Creative Assembly developing a language-specific community (German) for the studios flagship series Total War, and went on to working on a more global scale managing, growing and creating content for the game's community. In the final year I focused on building a global community from scratch in a highly competitive market. I’ve shipped three AAA-games and numerous DLCs for the Total War Brand, spearheaded the community and content campaign for our first free-to-play mobile title and supported several projects in development. My responsibilities ranged from creating captivating content, writing crisp copy, managing the community and social media channels, managing with influencer relations, as well as brand and product management, events management, customer relations and liaising with third parties. I worked closely with multiple in-house departments such is development and design, art, production, brand, QA and customer services as well as external partners such as publishers, distributors, agencies and influencers.

A started out as a GM for FFXI and FFXIV, handling in-game customer support, forum management, sentiment reports, publishing news and handling in-game community events, and supported both games in German and English. Before the re-launch of FFXIV, I supported the community through alpha and beta tests.I later went on to manage a multilingual team in a high pressure environment (shift work) during one of the busiest times for the product and company (A Realm Reborn), as well as supporting and working closely with the community team and as the customer service department.

While at university in Bournemouth I worked in numerous customer facing positions, working to encourage students to consider higher education and communicating the value of an academic career. This is included on and off-site events as well as on-site support. I’m especially proud of my role as AimHigher Ambassador, where I mentored a set of high school students with difficult backgrounds, helping them to find a way into an academic career. Thanks to my contributions a part time representative while being a student, I secured a front-facing job for the university as student advisor after finishing my degree.
