Senior Graphic Designer and Project Manager

Jan 2002 - Present
I work at a company which specializes in the design and production of lapel pins, magnets, keychains, and related merchandise for a variety of well-known clients, including the Hard Rock Cafe and the Disney parks. I work as a graphic designer, digitally cleaning up illustrations and preparing designs on a "mechanical" (template) so that they will be ready for the production phase. I also oversee a team of 12 very talented artists, assigning all projects and maintaining the workflow of a demanding schedule with often tight deadlines. As the so-called "traffic cop" it is my duty to make sure not only that art is completed in a timely fashion but that it also maintains our high standards of artistry and innovation.

Game Designer and 2D Animator
-
Jan 2000 - Jan 2002
I worked with a team of animators and graphic designers, developing parlor games for touch screen kiosks, for use in pub and restaurant settings. The games were networked between locations across the country. I developed games at the concept level, and created 2D animated demonstrations of games in development, for presentation to upper management. In addition, I created 15-second advertisements for the games, to be shown on the consuls during non-use, "attract" mode.
