      In January of 1990 I gained the position of Apprentice Electrical Mechanic with Toyota Motor Corporation, successfully completing in 1994 and remained in Toyota’s employ for 17 years till the operation of the Port Melbourne site ceased. My primarily role at TMCA was in Electrical Maintenance and preventive maintenance in large scale auto manufacturing covering all aspects of Automation. Motor control, robotics, conveying systems and PLC controlled automation that is within the scope of my current employment at PepsiCo (please see details above), with a strong emphasis on being actively involved in Continuous Improvement programs such as Kaizen and 5 Why's. Also, I had the fortune to work within the management group as Acting Group Leader for nine months during the year 2004/5.
