Matt was in a number of my classes, but I got to know him through the ACM programming competitions. Matt excelled in the competitions and actively sought out new problems to challenge himself with. I've never worked with Matt on a project, but was always impressed with his abilities and would welcome the opportunity to have him on any team with me.

I closely integrated myself with the team to act as a go-to engineer to keep them unblocked and to help improve their workflows. I also shipped Guitar Hero: Live for iOS, a mobile port of a major console title. I adapted the game to add unique mobile-specific gameplay to help make it a satisfying experience on mobile. I've also worked on a number of unannounced projects, and tools initiatives including a visual scripting toolset and a spline-based movement system.
