Creating murals backstage at the Chicago Theatre for visiting artists to sign commemorating their performance. Includes work for Frank, Dean & Sammy, Julie Andrews, Prince, and more. Over 25 murals created from 1987-1993. Resumed work in 2018 upon return to Chicago with murals for Madonna, Bill Murray and the Wizard of Oz, along with some restoration work on existing murals. Kaplan Summer Institute for Educators, presenting on the use of visual arts in Holocaust and genocide education. Collaborated with museum staff and outside educators on designing the Social Cruelty Curriculum and designed specific graphics for the All Behaviors Count website. Awarded grant through the Texas Holocaust & Genocide Commission to bring FotoFest International’s Literacy Through Photography program (Portraits of life in the Łódź Ghetto, focusing on the work of Roman Vishniak & Mendel Grossman) to campus. Prepared student instructors to teach Holocaust Museum Houston’s Butterfly Project to a Pre-IB World History Class, which included documentary filming for an exhibit at the museum and participation in a media event at the Houston Galleria. The International Seminar: Teaching the Shoah and Antisemitism

A month-long seminar on teaching about the Holocaust. To enrich this 140 hour program, study included field trips to Christian and Jewish Holy sites in Jerusalem, a visit to the Ghetto Fighters’ Museum in the North of Israel, a trip to both the Palmach and Diaspora Museums in Tel Aviv, as well as a trip to Massada and the Dead Sea.This seminar is accredited by the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. A month-long seminar on teaching about the Holocaust.
