I worked with Matt for two years at Anteil where, among other projects, we worked closely on the user interface for Anteil's proprietary PBX software. He was adept at taking my visions and turning them into UI that was fast, visually appealing, and user friendly. I was always impressed with his strong understanding of, and attention to, the experience of the end user. Matt's professional competence was apparent not only to his coworkers, but to our customers as well, who would regularly praise his work, which often included the UI for several software packages as well as the customer's public-facing website. I was impressed with how Matt was able to translate a vague concept or description into a gorgeous image. My personal favorite was a new logo he designed for our organization which included a female figure and male figure with a globe in the background. Although a decision on implementing the logo was tabled, I felt his design encompassed the message our team wanted to share with clients and supporters. In addition to the logo, Matt created graphics for an inventory sale and our 10th Anniversary Gala, which we used in advertisements on billboards, social media, website posts and print flyers. He also provided feedback on flow, usability, design, visual appeal and content as I built a new website for the organization. Following his internship, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside Matt on the Harrisburg Young Professionals Marketing committee. I was impressed with a logo he created for an HYP lemonade sale last year and he’s since worked on several projects for the marketing committee.
